I have a new brother
Sunday, September 14th, 2008This evening I was walking through making sure our church was all locked down for the night and came across the prayer room. Remembering something, I unlocked the door, entered the room, and began searching the wall covered in names. Up high on the right I found the name I was looking for, my good friend Barney who I’ve prayed for for many years. With great joy, I pulled a heart sticker from the basket and placed the sticker next to his name. My long time friend is now my brother!
What an incredible privilage it is to witness first-hand the grace of God in calling a person to Himself! Now as a fellow adopted son of God and joint heir with Christ I can call Barney my brother!
