We're glad you could stop by. Please feel free to browse through our picture and video collections.
This last year we celebrated 10 years of marriage, our boys turned 1 and 2, and we made (for us) a record number of trips and vacations. It has been a wonderful yet busy year and we are vowing to plan nothing in 2008 so we can recover. (yeah right!)
We are a couple of ordinary people that occasionally find ourselves participating in something extraordinary. You can see from our picture collections that we have taken more than our share of vacations. While all the vacations are exciting and fun, to us that's all still part of the ordinary. The extraordinary that continues to amaze me is when we get to see others experiencing meaningful life change in ways that are far beyond a couple of ordinary people. We also find ourselves changing in ways we never thought possible. If you have experienced life under God's grace you know what I'm talking about... If you haven't, please shoot us an email and we would love to answer questions.
The family and friends God has put in our lives are incredible. We have had the pleasure to share in both laughter and tears and watch God do His awesome work. Year 2005 was a big one for us and we really got to see God use family, friends and complete strangers support us in prayer (see the 2005 video in our video collection under family.)
This year we were privileged to participate with many others in sharing a meal every Sunday afternoon with the homeless in our community. It's called The Brook and the cool thing about it is how personal it is to just sit down and share a meal with familiar faces in the park each week. Already, there are countless stories of people connecting and real needs being met.

We gotta dote on our kids! (so bear with us)
Andy is our oldest at 2 1/2. There is no other way to say it but he is a gift from God. Guess that can be said of every child.
We adopted Andy after about five years of trying to have kids. We got to know his birth mom and grandma before he was born and still meet with them every once in a while. Thay are the greatest and it is an unbelievable privilege to know them. Andy is a talker. It is amazing how fast he is picking everything up. For Christmas all he could talk about was wanting Legos and tracks from Santa. Needless to say, a collection of Thomas the Tank Engine Legos were found under the Christmas tree.
With Joey we became part of the statistic of parents who couldn't have kids, adopted, then had their first shortly after. It's great. Joey is our little monkey. He got his daddy's ears and wiryness too. Joey started walking at 8 months and now he is running all over the place. Joey turned one on Dec 6th. We spent that day at the wild animal kingdom in Disney World.
Andy is figuring out how to share with Joey and Joey is already finding ways to push Andy's buttons. They are definitely brothers! They are great kids and really do well together. Andy likes to give Joey goodnight kisses and Joey loves playing with his older brother.
